A variety of honey and derivative products will be offered for tasting and available for purchase. A stop for refreshments at the Microbrasserie de Charlevoix (Microbrewery) is essential to your visit. Come in and taste the beers that earned us our reputation and which are renowned as some of the the best in the world of microbreweries. Continue your journey at the Centre de l’Émeu de Charlevoix. This ostrich look-a-like animal gives extra-lean, healthy red meat. The fat of the meat is also used to make Emu oil which is the main ingredient in many body products with remarkable properties.

Ski at Le Massif

Located an hour away from Quebec City and only 15 minutes away from the Domaine Charlevoix, Le Massif de Charlevoix is a mountain with the highest slope east of the canadian Rockies. Its 52 slopes offer a breathtaking view to skiers who literally feel like diving straight into the sea on their way down. The equipment and technology they have there offer you a state-of-the-art chair lift system as well as an exemplary service to allow you to practice your favorite sport in optimal conditions.

Also available on-site of Le Massif de Charlevoix is a 7,5 km sled run. This unique attraction is perfect for couples, friends, families and groups to discover the mountain from an entirely different angle. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are also practicable on-site with specially set up trails.

Le Massif de Charlevoix’s Club Med

An upcoming Club Med will open its doors in 2020. An investment of 120 million dollars will be used to set up this project in the area of the Petite-Rivière-St-François, which is 15 minutes away from the Domaine Charlevoix. Targeting couples, families and business people as a customer base, this project will offer lodging in 300 rooms that will eventually accommodate clients annually. During the wintertime, Club Med will offer a unique model of mountain vacations in an “all included” formula for skiing. Several spaces will also be provided for the purpose of seminars and conventions. Significant economic benefits are expected for the Charlevoix region because of this important project. The Village Club Med Massif de Charlevoix will be the first Club Med Village in Canada. It will be THE skiing destination in Eastern Canada. It is one the the biggest economical opportunity for the region an its people.
